Today is Patch Tuesday and Microsoft is rolling out cumulative updates to all supported version of Windows 10 operating system, including Windows 10 Mobile. The company has today released Windows 10 Mobile Build 15254.124 for Windows Phones with the Fall Creators Update.
Back in October, Microsoft began rolling out the Windows 10 Mobile version of the Fall Creators Update to the supported Windows Phones. If you own a supported Windows Phone, you can now download the cumulative update by navigating to Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update -> Check for updates.
Microsoft has created a page for Windows 10 Mobile Build 15254.124 changelog but the page at the time of writing this story is throwing not found error, and the changelog isn’t available. Presumably, it has performance related improvements and bug fixes.
It’s worth noting that Microsoft is not rolling out updates to the Windows Insiders on the Release Preview Ring. As far as we know, the Windows 10 Mobile Insider Program is now dead. To get any cumulative update or even feature update, anybody with Windows 10 smartphone should leave the Windows Insider programm.
Any cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile includes security fixes, for example, the company recently fixed WiFi vulnerability on Windows Phone, while the flagship Android Phones are still vulnerable.
